HISTORY
La Bacosfera - between the east bank of lake garda and the famous Monte Baldo
Azienda Agricola La Bacosfera has been established on September 2000 by Anne Maria Liedman and Luigi Simeoni, in Caprino Veronese, small village located on Monte Baldo slopes and near Garda Lake.
Hill fields have a morenic origin and they're farmed for an extension of 6,2 Ha, parted in vineyard, olive tree grove, coppice wood, arable and vegetable garden.
Costoli Vineyard is extended for 3,2 Ha.
The first graft was made in 1986, supported by pergola approach.
A second graft has been made in 2007, with Guyo approach.
Actual grapes varieties are: Corvina Gentile, Rondinella, Rossara, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Croatina and Merlot, in different percentages.
Grape harvest is hand made, in different moments according to different grapes types growth, in less warm periods to get the best energetic virtues.
Olive trees, planted in 1987, are placed on vineyard%u2019s edges. Currently, our olive varieties are Casaliva and Pendolino. Olives coming from this last variety are suitable to be preserved in brine.
